2010 Spring Concert

The Red Cedar Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Josh Aerie is please to announce,

"Masterworks for Orchestra"

featuring our 2010 Concerto Competition Winner, Kate Van de Loo, a junior at Memorial High School in Eau Claire, performing the third and fourth movements of Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat major. Other orchestral works include: Marche Militaire No. 1 by Franz Schubert, Young Joe Clark, by local composer Kevin McMullin, First Suite in Eb for Military Band, by Gustav Holst, and Symphony No. 5 in C minor, by Beethoven.

This concert will be held at two venues.

Saturday, April 24th at 2:00 p.m.,
at the Spooner High School auditorium

Sunday, April 25th at 4:00 p.m.,
at the University of Wisconsin - Barron County Fine Arts Theatre.

Tickets are available at the door on the day of the concert. Prices are $12 for adults, $5 for students 10 & up and children 9 & under are free.

There will be "welcome to the symphony" bags for young attendees to enhance their concert experience. Also, please show your program at Lehman's or Adventure's in Rice Lake after the concert and receive a 15% discount.
